EMOP Campione day2
Sunday, May 30th, 2010Starting day 2 was 108 players, out of the field of 387.
Ekolod1 got off to a good start and almost trippled his stack to 90K in the first level.
Not so lucky was Ivar44, who was all in for the first time in the tourney since he had had such a good stack all the time, and then he busted on this very first occasion.
Best of all the Potraiser players was Hans Erlandsson and Jesper “Luxxxing” Persson doing, as they both got up over 300K pretty quick.
After about 2 hour Lukas “ChilledOne” Bäumer was eliminated, as was Steffen “uldahl” Nielsen.
About an hour before the dinner break our team pro “Zuberr” played a really big pot when he reraised preflop with JJ, and eventually wound up all in on a 9 high flop, this was a 400K pot that unfortunately was lost to Zuberr’s opponent holding QQ.
As the dinnerbreak approached the players were getting knocked out pretty quick, and when it was time for the break it was a peculiar situation.
The tournament went on break with 46 players remaining, and 45 prizes was to be paid.
2 of the players had less than the big blind, and now had to wait another hour before their fate was to be decided.
On the second hand right after the dinnerbreak player 46 was knocked out, and Potraiser still had 4 players left.
These were:
Jesper “Luxxxing” Persson
Albert “Ekolod1″ Rolander
Isac “ihave0uts” Berglund
Hans “rennieweno” Erlandsson
Right after the bubble had burst Ekolod1 was eliminated holding A7 and getting his all in called by 22 preflop, the board came down xxxA2, so he was certainly a bit dissapointed to see this last deuce on the river.
Ekolod1 atleast cashed for €1900, and as he is the team manager and still had a few teamplayers in the tournament
he was not dissapointed for long at least.

The shortstacked players were now eliminated in a quite fast pace, as many had been waiting for the bubble to bust.
The field was down to 25 players pretty quick.
Hans Erlandsson made a really big reraise all in against Jesper “Luxxxing” Persson, when he tried to represent a flush that was made possible on the turn.
The problem for Hans was that Jesper had raised the pot preflop with 6 3 of diamonds, and flopped a straight and then made a flush when the third diamond landed. Jesper didn’t look to happy to call Hasses huge all in reraise, but did so anyway and wound up winning a monterous pot of 800K.
Jesper actually made a straight flush on the river in this pot as well.
Hans Erlandsson was left with just a few chips after this pot, and then he looked like he was making an amazing comeback as he got his stack up to around 100K again after some aggressive play.
Unfortunately this was not Hasse’s day, as he was eliminated in spot 21, after dominating the field as the chipleader for the better part of the day.
With 2 tables left things was looking good for team Potraiser. Isac “ihaveouts” Berglund was up to about 600K at one point, and Jesper “Luxxing” Persson was the chipleader sitting on a impressive stack of around 1,3 million.

Jesper “Luxxxing” Persson
The day ended in a not so funny way as both Jesper and Isac were eliminated almost at the same time in places 10 and 11, and the play was stopped for the day as the final 9 were complete.
Jesper got all his chips in with AK and was called by a Finnish player holding JJ that held up. Jesper had been a bit unlucky in a couple of pots earlier, and had doubled up quite a few players before the decisive hand came up.
Isac was on a short stack and pushed all in preflop with K7 from the button and was called by KQ in the small blind.
The hopes for Isac went up when he spiked a seven on the turn, but it was not to be as the river was a queen that sent Isac out of the tourney as well.

Isac “ihave0uts” Berglund
All in all team Potraiser really showed thet we have a stong team, with 3 teamplayers getting in to the money in this event.
Of course there is always going to be a bit of dissapointment when we are so close to having 2 players making the final table, and then both of them are knocked out as players 10 and 11. Sometimes the pokergods just deliver these kind of bad news and thats part of the game of course.
Isac took home around €6K, and Jesper got a bit more with around €6,5K, so atleast it was a good payday for our 2 best players of the tournament.
