The day began with 2 Potraiser players left out of 15, Henrik Kask with a chipstack of 200K, and Karl-Johan Hertz with a chipstack of 160K.
Quite early Kalle moved all in from the button with a resteal move holding A 6 when the cutoff had opened the pot with a raise in front of him.
Everybody folded around to the raiser in the cutoff seat who called with 10 10.
The flop looked promising for Kalle when it came A Q 6.
On the turn a Jack landed, giving the tens a gutshot as well, and the gutshot was completed on the river when a ugly King landed.
Kalle was all in all happy with his perfomance ,and stated right away after being knocked out in 15th place:
- There was no time to sit around with the payout structure beeing as is was, I had to get going right away.
Karl-Johan Hertz took home approximately €4000 for his effort.
About half an hour later we first saw Henrik Kask taking down a pot from the big blind with an all in move aganist the button raiser.
The decicive hand for Henrik came about 5 hands later when the under the gun player to Henriks right opened the pot with a raise, and Henrik moved all in for 193K holding QQ. everybody folded around to the raiser who had an easy call with AA.
The aces held up and the remainder of Henriks chips (33K) when to the middle the very next hand.
He then managed to get 2 all ins behind him, with the second guy holding aces again!
Henrik took home €4320 for 12th place in the tournament.
As teammanager I can only say that even if our team pro´s are good, we can´t keep running in to aces back to back on the final day.
Hopefully our guys we be the ones getting the big hands at the deciseive moments in the next tourney.
Resultlist for the final table of the European Masters of Poker ( Event 2, Gran Canaries ):
1. Maciej Lipny 66 240 euro
2. Henri Ovasta 39 744 euro
3. Mika Nyyssönen 25 920 euro
4. Reijo Anttila 16 128 euro
5. Sören Godskesen 12 672 euro
6. Jimmy Östensson 9 792 euro
7. Björn Lundgren 8 640 euro
8. Tommi Heikinniemi 7 488 euro
9. Mikko Pirinen 6 336 euro
Team Potraiser will now spend a couple of move days in Gran Canaria before returning home.
Hopefully we will have some nice weather food and drinks during our last days here.

The hopes going in to the day was a quick double up for Henrik Kask and Erik Andersson, and our prayers were atleast partially answered when Henrik made a beautiful run early on and quickly got up to around 80K.
Erik Andersson was not so lucky unfortunately and was knocked out quite early.
As the day went on we saw some nice play from Henrik Kask and Karl-Johan Hertz.
Players were getting knocked out in a rapid pace and soon there were only 50 left, then 40 and when the bubble burst both of our players were still in with healthy stacks.
At one point with around 22 players left they both sat on chipstacks around 300K, and things started to look really good. In the final hour and a half neither Kalle nor Henrik got any really good opportunitys, so their chipstacks was decreased a bit.
As play ended for the day there were 15 players left in the tourney, and Henrik Kask will be going in to the final day with 199K, and Karl-Johan Hertz will start day3 with approximately 160K.
Some pictures of the Potraiser heros of this tourney:

Henrik “ullis14″ Kask

Karl-Johan “OMGMannZan” Hertz
Team Potraiser sent the boys in contention home for a good nights rest, and then went out for a night on the town with some good laughs and some nice drinks.
Tomorrow at 17:00 the team will assemble again at the rail and hopefully make Henrik and Kalle feel good about beeing part of the team, as I will assure you they will definately have some good support as they make their run to go really deep in this tourney.
Over and out from Team Manager Albert Rolander.

On this day we had 2 of our most recent signings to the ProTeam make their entry to the tournament. Jesper Persson and Henrik Kask were the guys to defend the ProTeam honor on this day.

Jesper “Luxxxing” Persson

Henrik “ullis14″ Kask
The Pro´s were joined by the following guys from the online team:
Manne “Ektorpi” Nyberg, Erik “theamzi” Andersson, Petter “@cesup” Redemo and Karl-Johan “OMGMannZan” Hertz
Also playing in Potraiser shirts this day was Hans Erlandsson and online qualifyers Mkey and Bleight_23.
This day started out much better than the previous day when Henrik got to double up pretty early, and almost everyone were still in it by the time the dinner break arrived.
Jesper got a tough start end was down to around 8K and had to struggle. He then made a good effort and made his way back up to 35K due to good patience and solid play.
Unfortunately Jesper was knocked out when his opponent made a quite wierd all in push with AJ preflop. Jesper made the correct read with his holding of QQ, only to find the pokergods deliver the classical ace on the river.
We would have definately liked to see mr Persson with a stack of 70K. He played some really good poker at the time and would definately had posed a big threat with a stack like that.
All in all a promising first tourney by “team rookie” Luxxxing.
The guys from the onlinteam were really holding their own now, with team leader “Ektorpi” finding some good fish to his left.
Mr Ulliot was offered to get his all in called if he would win the rock/paper/sicssors challenge offered by Manne.
The English gentleman gracefully declined though.

Manne “Ektorpi” Nyberg and Devilfish
Best of all of the OnlineTeam guys did Karl-Johan Hertz who managed to get 65K with him going in to day 2. Erik Andersson also made it to day2 with a stack of 23K.
From the ProTeam Henrik Kask had a couple of tough hours in the end of day 1 as his stack was whittled down to just over 25K, but he held on to advance to day2.
The Players Lounge was well visited on this day as well, and Potraiser was much appreciated for the way we take care of our players.
Lots of pro´s were challenged to heads up matches and Team Manager “Ekolod1″ held court in his favourite game of Sviten Special were he remained unbeaten after 6 attempts by some of the guests.
Team Potraiser will be coming back on day2 to make an even better day we hope.

Late on day 1A the Potraiser Players Lounge was visited by a guy who wanted to challenge our own Gusten Sjöberg to a Guitarr Hero match.
The challenger was none other than Dave “Devilfish” Ulliot.

Out of courtesy to Devilfish we will not publish the score………..
Let´s just say that there are some extra euros in the pockets of mr Sjöberg.
The Players lounge was well visited during the day and Potraiser showed that we like to take good care of our players.

Regarding the results in the tournament there is unfortunately not much positive to be written about the ProTeam players, so let´s just end this post by saying that the results for tomorrow will hopefully be a lot better……
On the positive side we have Kristian Bodingh representing Potraiser through to day 2 with a healty stack.
At one point Kristian was leading the field with a stack of 95K.
Unfortunately he lost a big pot in the end but he still poses a real threat when he enters day 2 on Saturday.

Hi, everyone.
The new year is starting up, and the Potraiser Proteam is getting ready to take on the challenge of European Masters of Poker in Gran Canaries at the end of January.
Just before 2009 ended we signed a new player to our ProTeam, and this is Isac “ihave0uts” Berglund. Isac is a regular for many years now in online poker. Potraiser now gives Isac the chance to take part in the Potraiser team, as we believe a lot in his potential as a live tournament player as well.

Isac “ihave0uts” Berglund.
On January the 14th we relaunched the Beat our Pro´s tournament as well, with the following ProTeam members paking part:
ihave0uts
uldahl
Ekolod1
Simba84
Zuberr
Luxxxing
Gusten “Simba84″ did best of the guys in the team, when he managed to dodge all the bullets sent his way all the way to heads up.
Heads up he was defeted by rennieweno after an interesting match where the lead shifted a few times between the players before it was all over.
Potraiser will be in Gran Canaria in full force.
We hope to meet a lot of players there, and we will also introduce a new thing at this live tournament that will be really fun to take part in.
Look out for Potraiser in Gran Canaries…………………..

In the last couple of days Potraiser has signed 2 new players to the ProTeam.
The 24 year old Krzysztof Grubka of Poland has made somewhat of a rocket career on the European poker scene. Krzysztof transitioned to live poker as late as in may this year, up until then he had mostly played online poker.
In his first ever big live event he finished 12th at the European Masters of Poker in Prague, and then he won the final event of the same tour in Malta in September. For this victory he took home €95.000.
Krzysztof will be playing at Potraiser under the nick Zuberr.

Krzysztof “Zuberr” Grubka
28 year old Henrik Kask from Luleå in Sweden is the second signing. Henrik is best known for his second place in the Swedish PLO Championship of 2009. Henrik also has several nice finishes in both EPT and WSOP.
Henrik is also a feared opponent online at Potraiser.com, where he plays under the nick ullis14.

Henrik “ullis14″ Kask
Team manager, Albert Rolander says:
“With these signings we broaden the top of our already stong team, and we especially like the geografical diversification this means regarding our team players. Krzysztof and Henrik are 2 excellent ambassadors of our site, and we regard them as strong additions to the team”

Our very own Pro-Team player Steffen Uldahl Nielsen made it to the final table in the European Masters of poker event 1 season 2.
There was 253 players entering the event, and Uldahl finished strong with a 5th place, taking home over €11.000.
At one point he had almost 1 million in chips when he was 3 outed in a big pot against Jeremias Fjellgren. Although we also remember that he had recently doubled his stack when his K 9 won a big pot against K J held by the eventual winner Vladimir Mefodichev from Russia. So all in all it was a fair result.
The final table was surounded by the rest of team Potraiser, and a few Potraiser qualifyers, and there was no doubt who was the most cheered player at the final table with all the “SÅJA” being yelled after each pot taken down by Steffen.
Final results of EMOP Ljubljana:
1.Vladimir Mefodichev (Russia)
2.Mihai Nedelcu (Romania)
3.Jeremias Fjellgren (Sweden)
4.Anders Kjaerulf (Denmark)
5.Steffen Uldahl (Denmark)
6.Andreas Chalkiadikis (Greece)
7.Sylvain Lanternier (France)
8.Christoffer Brammer (UK)
9.Avi Cohen (Israel)

Steffen “uldahl” Nielsen at the final table.
For Acemagazine Denmarks report on the final table: see here (In Danish).
Potraiser congratulates Vladimir Mefodichev to his victory and the €58.190 in first prize.
Team Potraiser has now left Slovenia with some really good results, and watch out for us in the next EMOP, where we hope to come back even stronger.

The day started out really good, with JustFold taking down a nice pot to advance to 91K, and donkykIonk doubled up on one of the first hands.
Unfortunately donkykIonk was eliminated a few hands later when he pushed his 77 in to a guy holding KK behind him and was knocked out.
Simba84 made a bold move against a guy when he threebet a early raiser holding A9, unfortunately timing was not on his side today as a guy behind him had picked up QQ and went all-in. The first raiser also called with his KK. No help by the board and Simba84 was knocked out.
When we were in the money there was 3 players representing Potraiser still in. Those 3 were uldahl, JustFold and Thomas Andersson.
JustFold was on a short stack and took his chance before his BB with 87 suited but was called in 2 places and knocked out.
Shortly after Thomas Andersson was also eliminated.
Our last horse in this race is uldahl, who is still in when play ended for the day with 18 players left.
Uldahl has 287K, wich is exactly the average and an 8th place right now, and he is in good shape to make a serious run in this tourney tomorrow.
Play starts at 15.00 CET tomorrow, and you can follow the livereporting here

Team Potraiser is doing great in day 1B.
Simba84 (Gusten Sjöberg) and donkykIonk (Jens Lindbladh) representing the proteam also made it through to day2 in the tournament, so now 4 out of 6 from the proteam are still in.

Simba84 had a day he described as a frustrating one, where he just could´nt get the right momentum going, but excperienced as he is he keept his cool and fought with all weapons avvailiable and was still in contention when the right opportunity presented itself late in the last level when he got all his chips in with KK against a guy trying to pull of a big squeezeplay with KQ for a nice double up.
Gusten is starting day 2 with a stack of 47K, and is definetly in contention for a deep run in this tournament.
For donkykIonk the day was a struggle, he was up to about 24K at one time but had to make a big laydown with QQ that left him with a short stack for the last 3 hours of play yesterday. He tried as best he could to get his money in good for a double up but did´nt get any callers the times he was all-in, resulting in him moving on to day2 with a stack of 15K.
But give Jens a early double up and we will ha another guy who will put up a great threat today.
As a sidenote the Potraiserplayer St@ke_me (Lars-Johan Persson), who is travelling with our team on this trip is also through to day2 after a good days work with a few threebets to keep his stack in contention. Lars_Johan also displayed some nice klonking skills as he got it all in with KK against AA at one time and hitting a king. He had 38K at best and was down to 13K at one point but managed to get 25K with him to day 2.
Potraiser qualifyers Emil Henriksson is also infor day2 with a good stack of 55K, as is Thomas Andersson with a stack of 42K.
Today play will start at 15.00 with the following players representing Potraiser.
Steffen Uldahl Nielssen 90K (Read an article in danish about Steffen here)
Christer Lagerstöm 66K
Gusten Sjöberg 47K
Jens Lindbladh 15K
Lars-Johan Persson 25K
Emil Henriksson 55K
Thomas Andersson 42K
How many will we have to the final day?……….. follow the livereporting here
